Groowfin is a set of free financial calculators — Compound Interest, Mortgage (US), Mortgage (UK), Retirement Savings, 401(k) & Roth IRA Retirement, DCA, Mortgage Affordability (DTI), HSA, Paycheck, Freelancer Rate, Debt Payoff, CapEx / Capital Expenditure — built so anyone can run their own numbers without creating an account or sending anything to a server. This page explains, as plainly as we can manage, exactly what data we collect when you use groowfin.com and what happens to it.

By using this site, you're agreeing to the practices described below. If something here doesn't sit right with you, the safest option is not to use the site.

1. What you type into a calculator never reaches us

This is the part that matters most: every calculator on Groowfin — Compound Interest, Mortgage (US), Mortgage (UK), Retirement Savings, 401(k) & Roth IRA Retirement, DCA, Mortgage Affordability (DTI), HSA, Paycheck, Freelancer Rate, Debt Payoff, CapEx / Capital Expenditure — runs entirely inside your own browser. When you enter your salary, a mortgage balance, debt figures, or investment amounts, that math happens locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. We genuinely have no idea what your income, debt, or retirement numbers are, because they never leave your screen. Refresh the page and the result disappears — nothing about it is stored on our end.

We also don't ask for an email address, phone number, or any form of identity to use any calculator on the site.

2. Technical data that gets collected automatically

Like most websites, we still pick up some technical information every time a page loads — not from what you type into a calculator, but from the act of browsing itself. That includes your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, which pages you visited, how long you stayed, and where you came from. This comes through cookies and third-party analytics tools, detailed in Section 4.

3. What that data gets used for

• Seeing which calculators get used most, so we know what to improve
• Catching bugs and slow pages
• Serving relevant ads through Google AdSense
• Meeting legal obligations if a competent authority ever requires it

We don't sell, rent, or trade visitor data to anyone.

4. Cookies and the third parties involved

The site uses three kinds of cookies:

• Essential — for example a NEXT_LOCALE cookie that remembers whether you're reading the site in English or Indonesian, so you're not asked every visit. These can't be switched off, since the site needs them to work properly.
• Analytics — from Google Analytics, to look at traffic patterns in aggregate rather than per individual visitor.
• Advertising — from Google AdSense, which Google and its partners may use to serve ads based on your visits here and elsewhere.

For visitors in the EEA and the UK, we show a consent banner through Google Funding Choices before any non-essential analytics or advertising cookie is set. You can change that choice at any time by clearing cookies in your browser and reloading the page.

5. How long data sticks around

Since calculator inputs never reach our servers in the first place, there's no "financial data" for us to retain or delete — it was never ours to hold. Analytics data collected through Google Analytics follows Google's own retention window, typically around 14–26 months before it's automatically discarded.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you're based (GDPR for the EEA/UK, CCPA for California, and similar laws elsewhere), you may be entitled to access, correct, or delete data tied to you, restrict or object to certain processing, request a portable copy of your data, and withdraw consent at any time. Because we don't hold personal data on our servers to begin with, most of these requests will actually point to data held by Google (Analytics/AdSense) — but we're happy to help point you in the right direction. 7. Children's privacy

Groowfin isn't directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age of digital consent where you live). We don't knowingly collect personal data from children. If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child has shared personal information through the site, contact us and we'll act on it right away.

8. If this policy changes

We'll update this page from time to time — a new calculator, a new ad provider, a regulatory change. The "last updated" date above will move whenever that happens. Worth a glance back here occasionally if you're curious whether anything's shifted.
